Hello! Our recent research on the phylogeography of the Burrowing Parrot Cyanoliseus patagonus shows that two of the sub-species, which are genetically distinct populations, are under threat.
This are:
C. p. bloxami, with a maximun population size of 5000 individuals
C. p. andinus, with a maximum population of 2000 nests
